Once caught, the squid is carefully prepared using a traditional Galician recipe. High-quality ingredients such as tomato, onion, and spices are used to enhance and complement the bold umami taste of the squid in ink!

What you will need:

  • Squid in Ink
  • Fettuccine pasta
  • ½ tbsp of minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • ½ lemon squeezed
  • Crushed red pepper to taste
  • Parsley to taste

How to make Squid in Ink Pasta:

  1. In a pot, begin to cook the pasta.
  2. While the pasta cooks, in a separate pan, add olive oil and set it to a medium heat.
  3. Place garlic in the pan with the oil and sauté it until fragrant.
  4. Then, add the Squid in Ink to the pan to heat up quickly. Here, squeeze lemon juice on top of the squid. Once heated up, remove the pan from the heat.
  5. Once the pasta is al dente, drain it and place it in a bowl.
  6. Lastly, pour the contents of the pan onto the pasta and sprinkle crushed red pepper and parsley. Enjoy!
